KSC MEMBERSHIP AND SUPPORT
| Formal
membership: For those who would like to
contribute ongoing support for the activities of KSC, we offer a formal
membership structure. Members pledge a monthly donation of $10 or more,
payable monthly, quarterly ($30) or annually ($120). Funds are used to
meet expenses, including materials such as chanting texts, upkeep of
meeting spaces, sponsoring of visits by lamas, and maintenance of a
bookstore; and to support other Dharma activities such as offering
butterlamps, helping support stupa construction, etc., as our budget
permits. Membership is completely optional; all are welcome to
participate in KSC activities whether they are members or not.
Members of KSC are entitled to discounts on KSC events and bookstore
purchases, and on events, accommodations and purchases at KTC
Monastery. If you would like to become a member of KSC, please contact
us by email or phone or at any of our meetings.
Donations of time: When we have a visiting lama, a lot of help with preparation and during the visit is needed. In addition, we occasionally need help with maintenance jobs at the Barrington Dharma Center. Please let us know if you would like to donate some time on these occasions.
